The Friends of Bukowski's Animals (FoBAS) is incorporated and has 501(c)(3) non-profit status. With the help of Dr. George Cameron -- the most compasionate veterinarian we've ever known -- as of October 4, 2007 we are providing pet care and adoptions through a network of fosters and adoptions at FoBAS Cozy Cottage, 11-18 Saddle River Rd., Fair Lawn. We are still FoBAS - now the Friends of Bukowski's Animals and no longer directly associated with the Bloomfield Animal Shelter. We welcome your donations and support which goes to help with food, medical care, fostering and general care of homeless animals. All donated cash, products and services will be used to assist homeless, helpless animals. We do not use professional fundraisers or received government funding. The cats and dogs in our care rely on the kindness of people like you. The John A. Bukowski Shelter for Animals on Petfinder at 61 Bukowski Place is now managed by the Township of Bloomfield and not FoBAS.
